The Vintage Fluted draws from mid-century lampshade traditions — a fabric shade pleated and folded into deep fluted ridges that catch and diffuse light into soft warm columns. The turned solid wood base reads like a piece of heritage furniture, balancing the soft femininity of the fabric with grounded warmth. How is it installed — do I need an electrician?
No. Mount the wood backplate to the wall using the included screws and anchors, plug the cord into a standard outlet, and switch on with the inline push-button. No junction box, no hardwiring, no electrician needed — perfect for renters or anyone wanting wall-lamp warmth without commitment.

Is it dimmable?
Not as standard. The inline push-button switch is on/off only. For ambiance control, use a dimmable smart bulb (E14, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth) and adjust brightness via phone app or voice assistant.
Are the fluted shade colors fabric or printed?
The shade is genuine woven fabric — not printed plastic. Plaid patterns are woven into the cloth itself, and solid colorways are dyed fabric. The shade is hand-pleated and stitched into the signature fluted ridges, then finished with a small bias-tape band at top and bottom edges.
Note: as with all natural-fabric lampshades, slight variation in pleat depth and color saturation between pieces is part of the handmade character.
Can the cable be extended?
